We want to make sure we take advantage of Josh's break from school, so we're trying to get a lot of family outings. We went with a couple other families in the ward to a fish hatchery. This is better than all the other hatcheries I've ever been too. There were tourist-y types of things to see, not just a whole bunch of long tanks of fish.
That little boy sitting on the rocks with Josh and Cohen is Jacob. Cohen thinks he's great and likes to surprise him by grabbing his hand and walking around.

This is somewhere at the hatchery too. I said "Where's daddy?" so he would look at the camera. I guess daddy was just too far away. He didn't know where daddy was.

There is a 70 year old fish living at the hatchery. Herman the Sturgeon is what they call him. He's 10 feet long and between 400 and 500 pounds! He honestly looks like a weird shark.

Feeding the fish was fun for Cohen. They had a beautiful little pond set up and a vending machine that cost us 25 cents for a handful of fish food. He did great until the end of our little 19 second video.... I'm sure it's not harmful.....
We like Mt. Tabor park. This is where Cohen and I went on a little toddler nature hike, and I wanted to take Josh there so he could enjoy it too. Our picnic dinner was lots of fun.
Cohen loves to go down the slide!

You may not know it, but throwing pine cones is rather thrilling if you are 18 months old. There are hundreds on the ground at Cohen's disposal.

I would love to go see a fish hatchery. I bet Cohen LOVED the big fish!
