We went on a "ladybug hike" together. (Simply a guided nature walk around a park with a backpack for the toddler.) This time Cohen got to have his face painted with wild Oregon grapes. He's displaying his feather here.... it's very small, but he liked holding it for a while.
Rose bushes are pokey. They also smell pretty.
You never know when the stranger will actually snap the picture.... Nana and Cohen weren't quite ready for this one!
Just in case you're wondering, this is what I look like at 24 weeks pregnant.
This is a strange picture - I know. This is the "dancing robot" that has entertained Cohen's thoughts for a long time. We discovered it back in early July at Home Depot (obviously) and he didn't forget about it. He talks about how the robot moves his arms and imitates him, and purely enjoys saying "dancing robot." When we had to make a trip to Home Depot this week we had to check to see if the dancing robot was still there. Sadly, there was no air flowing through his arms, but at least he was still there. This robot is very near and dear to Cohen's heart. I would be a bad mother if I didn't get a picture so Cohen could always remember. Isn't this weird?
Our little family practically NEVER goes out to eat. Well, this weekend Josh and I just needed to enjoy each other and have fun, and not have to clean up dinner, so we did it. Cohen had a blast. We allowed him to sit in a booster chair rather than a high chair, and he did pretty good. He's growing up!
