just some cute faces

One night while Parker was getting ready for bed I thought I'd take some pictures.
These moments pass by so quickly.
He likes to lean back on our couch, lazy boy, or our lower legs, and just totally relax.  This is me sitting in the chair looking down at him while he's standing on the floor and leaning back.

He's such a soft blanket baby/toddler.  This green one stays in the family room, and he has an equally as good smaller one that follows him around sometimes but mostly stays in the crib.

Life really does pass quickly.  Since these pictures were taken in late April (only a month ago) he no longer has a bottle, and is too tall to lean back on things like this comfortably.  Now he just pulls the soft blanket to the floor and lays on it.  No cuddles for mom or dad at bed time.
That's just kind of how he does it.  He's also become more and more attached to his little blanket, even though I'm always putting it back in the crib, and not reinforcing the love for it.... it happens anyways.  He finds it when he's hurt and needs a cuddle or when he's tired.

One Saturday, just Cohen and I went to run some errands while Parker napped and daddy studied.  We had some extra time and ended up walking on Troutdale's seemingly old-fashioned Main Street.  We came across this moose.  It was an instant hit.

It was really fun to just get out with Cohen and enjoy some layed-back time with him.

Here are a couple pictures of Cohen and Parker just playing around on Cohen's bed.

They love to play together.  Sometimes I have to play referee more than I'd like, but sometimes they just have a blast and don't frustrate each other.  We're working through Parker's biting stage.  Cohen sure loves to tickle, and Parker is such a little lover.  He says "uhhoo" with the inflections in his voice, and strokes your head and says "hi" when he's trying to be gentle.  You'll catch a quick version of this in the video below... usually he takes much more time with it.
