Happy Valentine's Day! I guess we have a tradition on our hands. Making chocolate covered stawberries is the thing to do at our house on the day of love. I also am loving getting pictures of Cohen at the same time and place helping me make the treat. Oh wait.... he WOULD NOT help me this year. That's right. He HAD to play his Leap Frog Explorer learning system instead. I even about sent him to time out, and took away privledges and the whole bit, but then realized this is my silly idea of a good time, and it doesn't nessisarily mean it's what everyone thinks is a good time. Well, perfect time for Parker to fill his shoes. Parker and I were both a little frightened of him standing on the chair, but we both seemed to manage. Take a look here at last years' blog post about Valentine's day. Kind of cute. Parker is just 2 months younger than Cohen (respectively) in our 2 year old pictures. My boys are cute.
Parker testing out the chocolate. He's a member of the family because he loves it. Per Cohen's request, we made chocolate covered apples because he doesn't like strawberries.
What Cohen was doing the whole time.
What he did when I told him to smile. Wouldn't really even look up. Don't worry. We have many restrictions on the Explorer now. :)
My kiddos playing like Cohen is a cat.
Don't mind that it was laundry folding time for me, and every toy is out....
It seems like I went through a crafty streek. When the kids are down, and Josh is studying, and I need a break instead of doing housework (which I should probably be doing) I sometimes like to make things.
These owls were actually a service project that the activity day's girls from church did. I'm there leader so I finished everything up, but they did a lot of work on them too. They turned out pretty cute.
I made this wreath. I like it.
It's amazing how wrapping up felt suddenly turns into a rose.
Pretty cool to see how they turn out.
