An old firehouse

On one of the first Saturdays in November we went to an old Portland firehouse that has been redone to be a little museum.  I found this online, and I was so excited to take Cohen there.
I knew he would love it, and he did.

I am slowly discovering something about Cohen's cute personality, though.  He has always been a fearless, daredevil, running, jumping, trying anything kind of toddler.  Well, this is changing.  It's hard for me to see the change in him because I guess I just don't really understand it.  I honestly hope I haven't instilled fear in his little heart after watching him be a daredevil for 3 years and giving him countless warnings of danger.

How cool is it to slide down a fireman pole!!!!?  We had to totally convince Cohen to do this.  Even after watching all the other kids, he wouldn't climb the stairs to the right of this platform and slide down with the assistance of the fireman.  The nice fireman ended up picking up Cohen, attaching him to the pole, and slowing bringing him down while Cohen was petrified.  Weird.

There were all sorts of fun things to do.  Cohen liked learning more about what real firemen do.

We got to sit in the back seat of this fire truck and have a little virtual emergency ride.  Fun times.

I wish I could find fun things like this to do every week!  It's like a treasure when I discover things like this.

They are getting big!! Cohen is looking more like a big boy not a toddler.
