A Walk In the Park

Josh and I were spontaneous! If you know us - you know that's pretty rare. We decided to have an evening in the park after work a few weeks ago, and enjoyed a picnic dinner and the cool breeze. It was a perfect evening. Cohen loved being able to walk/run around on the grass. Before we got there I was pretty sure he'd have a hard time walking around on the uneven surfaces at Murray Park, but he did great! We all enjoyed our BBQ pork sandwiches and then had fun walking around, looking at the ducks, and watching other kids play (Cohen was really into that). I think some of the pictures turned out priceless.

I think this picture illustrates that it's just hard to let go as a parent sometimes. Cohen is only 11 months old and I'm already feeling it! In this picture Josh wanted to hold Cohen's hand and walk, but Cohen was just off on his own, and didn't need our help.

I know what you mean about having to let go sometimes! It always makes me sad when one of my girls tells me that she's going to do it herself. I guess we just have to enjoy the time we have now because someday they won't need us as much! Darling pics!
